come fup with us!

Welcome to the on-line home of the First-year Urban Program (FUP)!

Apply to be a Steercom Member!

If you have done FUP before, either as a FUPpie or a leader, and care deeply about strengthening the program during FUP week itself and during the year, we invite you to apply to be on the Steering Committee for FUP '09-'10. The major requirement is that all new Steering Committee members commit to be in Boston over the summer; the time committment is about 15 hours a week through the last two weeks in June, 20 hours a week through July, and sheer madness in the first two weeks of August.

The process for applying is different than applying to be a leader. If you're interested in being a Steercom member, we ask that you fill out this Steercom Interest Questionaire [Copy & paste this link in a new tab {file:///Users/taravenkatraman/Downloads/fup09%20steercom%20application.pdf}] and then e-mail it to us as soon as possible, preferably before February 14 when leader applications come in. A few members of Steercom will then sit down and have a conversation with you in early February.

As always, don't hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any questions: fup@fas.harvard.edu.
